about

Peter Hastings

Peter has a background in music and theatre and writing, and brings all these disciplines to his photography. Originally from the Philadelphia suburbs, he has lived in Colorado, Boston (where he attended the Berklee College of Music), and currently in Los Angeles, California, where he has been employed as a writer/director/producer, primarily in animation, for many years.  He has won six Emmy Awards and a George Foster Peabody Award for his work on shows such as Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, How to Train Your Dragon, and Kung Fu Panda among others. He is also the writer/director of the feature film “Dog Man” from Universal and Dreamworks.

His photography is inspired simply by what excites and moves him, whether it is emotionally or compositionally and cumulatively presents a personality and a world view which he cannot exactly describe - so he shoots it.
